Description [src]

Asynchronously creates a symbolic link named file which contains the string symlink_value.

Available since: 2.74

This method completes asynchronously. Use g_file_make_symbolic_link_finish() inside the GAsyncReadyCallback to obtain the result of the operation.

Parameters

symlink_value

Type: const char*

A string with the path for the target of the new symlink.

The data is owned by the caller of the method.
The value is a platform-native string, using the preferred OS encoding on Unix and UTF-8 on Windows.
io_priority

Type: int

The I/O priority of the request.

cancellable

Type: GCancellable

Optional GCancellable object, NULL to ignore.

The argument can be NULL.
The data is owned by the caller of the method.
callback

Type: GAsyncReadyCallback

A GAsyncReadyCallback to call when the request is satisfied.

The argument can be NULL.
user_data

Type: gpointer

The data to pass to callback function.

The argument can be NULL.
The data is owned by the caller of the method.
